Prison Ministry

Recently, we hosted two exciting services at our local prison! We had Praise and Worship with our band and Praise Team and our Mime team ministered to the uplifting song, “Its Not Over”, bringing many of the inmates and the church staff to tears. The Word of God was powerful – Pastor Deborah preached during the women’s service and Bishop Dukes preached during the men’s service. We could feel the spirit of breakthrough and deliverance in the place, and 110 of the inmates accepted Christ. 110 destinies were shifted, 110 souls made a spiritual u-turn from being hell-bound to being heaven-bound!

What a great impact we are making through the power of Jesus Christ. We believe that we are called to preach the gospel to the poor; to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those that are bruised.

We routinely provide books, Bibles and other Christian literature to the inmates in this facility as well as our local Juvenile Detention Center. We also minister to the inmates in the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center via video!

We have developed a life-changing ministry to care for the children of the inmates as well. Every Christmas, we host a toy drive to solicit gifts for the children of those who are incarcerated. We host a big party for the children to eat, play games and receive their gifts.

Our Prison Ministry is just one of the many ways that we are serving our community and showing the love of Christ. Through the financial support and dedication of our volunteers and ministry partners, we impact countless lives within our community through various programs. We are committed to making a difference and with your help, we can touch even more lives. Donate today and be a part of helping us minister to these precious souls!
