Pastor and Co-Pastor Dukes answered the call to ministry after faithfully serving as active members at Love of Christ Church in Alexandria, Virginia.  Bishop Carver E. and State Mother Lorraine Poindexter sent them to start a church in the Woodbridge, Virginia area and thus, Harvest Full Gospel Church now Harvest Life Changers Church, International (HLCCI) was born.  The first church service was held on January 15, 1995 in the music room at Potomac Senior High School with just three members: Pastor Dukes, Co-Pastor Dukes, and their daughter Brittany.  It was here that the foundation of the Harvest Life Changers Church, International was established.  The grand opening was held on March 26, 1995. 

As a result of Pastor and Co-Pastor Dukes’ faithfulness to God and diligence to winning souls, by the end of 1995 the church increased to fifty members.  It was evident that the music room could no longer accommodate the church, so the high school’s auditorium became our new worship location.  As the ministry continued to be blessed, Harvest Life Changers Church became a life-changing place for many individuals.  Through the years, God has continued to send souls to hear His anointed, dynamic preaching and teaching through His anointed vessels. Today, the church has over three thousand members and countless visitors who come to worship God, be saved, delivered, and set free.  Harvest has over 70 ministries that have been formed to build the spiritual structure needed for growth.  Ministries include a community service ministry, an active evangelism program, a discipleship program, as well as an exciting Youth Ministry, marriage ministry and Singles Ministry. 

In April 2000, God blessed Harvest Life Changers Church with the purchase and renovations of a new facility, located at 14401 Telegraph Road, in Woodbridge, Virginia.  The five million-dollar facility houses a beautiful sanctuary, a bookstore, a nursery, a fellowship hall, classrooms, and much more.  The Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony and Grand Opening were held on September 29, 2001.  On September 10, 2002, Harvest Life Changers Church hosted The Healing of the Nation service with Bishop T.D. Jakes where over 7,000 were in attendance.  Harvest Life Changers Church, International is also headquarters for the Harvest Television and Radio Ministries as well as Lyle and Deborah Dukes Ministries (LADD). 

The move to our new facility represents a tremendous opportunity to minister to the community at a greater level and see the move of God in the lives of everyone who walks through the doors.  Please pray for the Harvest family as we seek to “Change the World, One Life at a Time.”
